A magnitude 4.3 earthquake has struck the Kodiak Island Region, Alaska at a depth of 44.2 km (27.5 miles), the quake hit at 21:37:57 UTC Wednesday 31st August 2011.
The epicenter was 87 km ( 54 miles) ENE of Ouzinkie, Alaska
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No reports of Damage or Injuries at this time
