A magnitude 4.2 earthquake has struck the Kodiak Island Region, Alaska at a depth of 18.4 km ( 11.4 miles), the quake hit at 11:31:18 UTC Monday 22nd August 2011.
The epicenter was 68 km (42 miles) South of Akhiok, Alaska
No Reports of Damage or Injuries at this time.
