|  A magnitude 5.3 earthquake has struck near Islands. Aleutian Islands, Alaska at a depth of 50.6 km ( 31.4 miles), the quake hit at 20:24:01 UTC Tuesday 16th August 2011. The epicenter was 74 km (45 miles) WSW of Buldir Island, Alaska No Tsunami Warning Issued - No Reports of Damage or Injuries at this time. | |
