A magnitude 4.1 earthquake has struck New Zealand at a depth of 40 km ( 24.8 miles), the quake hit at 10:57 am (NZST) Saturday 13th August 2011.
The epicenter was 40 km (24.8 miles) Northeast of Matawai, New Zealand
No Reports of Damage or Injuries at this time.
