A magnitude 4.0 earthquake has struck the Gulf of California at a depth of 9.9 km ( 6.2 miles), the quake hit at 03:13:49 UTC Wednesday 27th July 2011.
The epicenter was 106 km (65 miles) SSW of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No damage or injuries reported at this time
