A magnitude 5.9 earthquake has struck the Gulf of California at a depth of 10.2 km ( 6.3 miles), the quake hit at 17:44:21 UTC Tuesday 26th July 2011.
The epicenter was 87 km (54 miles) Southwest from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No damage or injuries reported at this time
