|  A magnitude 4.8 earthquake has struck Tarapaca, Chile at a depth of 131.7 km (81.8 miles), the quake hit at 00:53:18 UTC Wednesday 31st August 2011. The epicenter was 85 km ( 52 miles) ENE of Tacna, Peru No reports of Damage or Injuries at this time | |
