A magnitude 2.9 earthquake has struck Offshore San Francisco, Northern California at a depth of 6.7 km ( 4.2 miles), the quake hit at 07:19:18 UTC Tuesday 30th August 2011.
The epicenter was just 3 km (2 miles) Southwest of San Francisco Zoo, Northern California
No Reports of Damage or Injuries at this time
