A magnitude 4.4 earthquake has struck the Eastern Mediterranean Sea at a depth of 8 km (5 miles), the quake hit at 12:19:10 UTC Thursday 25th August 2011.
The epicenter was 44 km ( 27.3 miles) Southwest of Kas, Turkey
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No reports of Damage or Injuries at this time
