A magnitude 6.2 earthquake has struck Vanuatu at a depth of 10.1 km (6.3 miles), the quake hit at 23:06:16 UTC Wednesday 24th August 2011.
The epicenter was 79 km ( 49 miles) Southwest of Porto-Vila, Efate, Vanuatu
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No reports of Damage or Injuries at this time
