|  A magnitude 4.9 earthquake has struck Kuril Islands at a depth of 118.2 km ( 73.4 miles), the quake hit at 10:29:15 UTC Monday 15th August 2011. The epicenter was 423 km (262 miles) Southwest of Severo-Kuril'sk, Kuril Islands, Russia No Tsunami Alert Issued - No Reports of Damage or Injuries at this time. | |
