| A magnitude 5.1 earthquake has struck Solomon Islands at a depth of 35 km ( 21.7 miles), the quake hit at 23:53:26 UTC Monday 8th August 2011. The epicenter was 93 km (57 miles) SSE of Kira Kira, San Cristobal, Solomon Islands No Tsunami Warning Issued - No damage or injuries reported at this time  | |
