A magnitude 4.6 earthquake has struck the Volcano Islands, Japan at a depth of 583.4 km (362.5 miles), the quake hit at 02:42:07 UTC Tuesday 30th August 2011.
The epicenter was 134 km ( 83 miles) Northwest of Iwo Jima, Volcano Islands, Japan
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No reports of Damage or Injuries at this time
