A magnitude 5.8 earthquake has struck the East Coast of Honshu, Japan at a depth of 16 km (9.9 miles), the quake hit at 08:49:40 UTC Tuesday 21st June 2011.
The epicenter was 113 km (70 miles) From Mito, Honshu, Japan
No tsunami watch, warning or advisory is in effect. No reports of Damage as yet.
