A magnitude 4.8 earthquake has struck of the Coast of Northern California at a depth of just 10.1 km (6.3 miles), the quake hit at 10:49:11 UTC Saturday 18th June 2011. This Follows an Earlier Quake in the same area of 4.2 Magnitude with a depth of 10km
The epicenter was 216 km (131 miles) West of Brookings, Oregon
No Tsunami warning Issued
