|  A magnitude 4.9 earthquake has struck the Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan at a depth of 10 km ( 6.2 miles), the quake hit at 23:49:12 UTC Friday 19th August 2011. The epicenter was 83 km (51 miles) Southwest of Faizabad, Afghanistan No Reports of Damage or Injuries at this time. | |
