A magnitude 4.8 earthquake has struck Eastern Honshu, Japan at a depth of 32.7 km ( 20.3 miles), the quake hit at 04:51:03 UTC Friday 19th August 2011.
The epicenter was 89 km (55 miles) Southeast of Morioka, Honshu, Japan
No Reports of Damage or Injuries at this time.
