A magnitude 4.8 earthquake has struck the Kermadec Region at a depth of 60.3 km ( 37.5 miles), the quake hit at 07:37:53 UTC Wednesday 17th August 2011. The epicenter was 154 km (95 miles) ENE of Raoul Island, Kermadec Islands No Tsunami Warning Issued - No Reports of Damage or Injuries at this time.
