A magnitude 6.0 earthquake has struck the East Coast of Honshu, Japan at a depth of 26.2 km (16.3 miles), the quake hit at 00:46:16 UTC Friday 20th May 2011.
The epicenter was 111 km (68 miles) East of Tokyo, Japan
No tsunami watch, warning or advisory is in effect. No reports of Damage as yet.
