A magnitude 4.5 earthquake has struck the New Britain Region, Papua New Giunea at a depth of 91.9 km ( 57.1 miles), the quake hit at 05:41:16 UTC Thursday 4th August 2011.
The epicenter was 196 km (121 miles) Northwest Kandrian, New Britain, Papua New Guinea
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No damage or injuries reported at this time
